The July issue of The Cultural Diary is out since the beginning of the month. You will find in it all the key cultural events taking place in Damascus including paintings exhibitions, theatre plays, movies, music concerts, and conferences.

As usual you can collect a free copy at any of the cultural centres, galleries, Dar Al Assad and other locations.

The Cultural Diary is published both in English and Arabic

With the contribution of 20 Syrian, Arab & Foreign Artists. The Meeting seeks to enhance the Art Audience-Art relationship, reinforce the Plastic Art Culture, and create opportunities of transactions among the artists.

Saleem Salem

Iraqi composer, musician, and ‘oud player, Salem is a graduate of the Baghdad School for ‘Oud, founded by Al Shareef Mouhyee Al Dine Haidar.  Salem is known for his expert technique, rich sensitivity, and light touch.
